Episode 44: Lorena Bobbitt

Tis the season of love, perfect time for a little bloody valentine.  On June 23^rd 1993 in Manassas, Virginia was the home of Lorena and John Wayne Bobbitt.  Love was definitely lost that night, John passed out after another night of drinking but would awake to a frightening site.  Lorena had woke up for a simple glass of water, when she returned to the bedroom with a carving knife to do the unthinkable…. She didn’t kill him but definitely removed a prized possession that would surprisingly lead to John Wayne Bobbitt’s 15 minutes of fame.  Why did she do it? Why did this story captivate so many? Why is John such a douche?

Was Betty just an abuse victim that finally had enough or was she a cold blooded black widow that spun a web full of lies and deceit.

You don't want to mess with Robert. He has a leathery face that's riddled with scars. His eyes are hard and black even when he appears to be smirking. He stands about 3ft tall, is dressed in a sailor suit, and lives inside a glass box. Oh yeah.. he's also an 120 year old cursed doll.
Over the years Robert has been blamed for car accidents, broken bones, job loss, divorce and a plethora of other misfortunes all because he is very particular about having his picture taken. Ask the thousands of people who have visited him, they'll all tell you the same thing... Robert did it.

Straighten your hair, put on your eyeliner, wrist bands, studded belts and tripp pants as we embark down the rabbit hole of the never-ending Avril is dead conspiracy theory.
